February 24th, The Due Date for our baby girl. I'll let you know how it goes.

Well this is a long overdue post, like 9 months overdue. Heather and I are having a baby, some time this week.
But don't blame me. If you have been listening to Craft Beer Radio you would know all about it. The due date is the 24th. stay tuned for the announcement of the baby's website.

In other news I'm now a Mac user. We have done 104 episodes of CBR. We got a Wii. I brewed a horribly bitter Saison. Those items and others will be covered on later editions of jeffbearer.com

Before this weekend I had a Drupal 5 site, a Drupal 4 site, a b2Evolution site, a PHPNuke site, and a hand coded site. Now I have Four Drupal 5 sites and the hand coded one. Needless to say I'm becoming quite knowledgeable on importing data into Drupal along with the upgrades.

First it was geeklog, then it was b2evolution, and now it's drupal. jeffbearer.com is now on it's 3rd generation. And I just might start blogging again. All the old posts on here were imported from the old blog.

Importing the stories from b2evolution to drupal was fairly easy, not perfect, but easy. The work to migrate photos and the like was just not worth it. I used the Node Import module in Drupal. I exported the evo_posts table with phpMyAdmin using the following options:

By default the right side of the pad does vertical scrollwheel action, and the bottom edge of the pad does horizontal scrollwheel action. I found that the horizontal scroll in firefox took me forward and back whole pages, which was disconcerting, so I changed firefox to turn it into a true horizontal scroll by doing the following.
